"A chef needs resources, organization, skills and
methods like a manager does within a company"
Cooking Training ManagementTM is a new management training method created by Tangram, based on learning by action (by doing).
Is is based on a simple but innovative organization criterion that is "a chef needs resources, skills, organization and method to cook like a manager does in a company".
Many ideas come out from this comparison: cooking timing management, management of unexpected events and of available resources. The need for cooperation to achieve a common objective. The need for coordination and communication and the development of sensitivity and creativity....
Activities developed by means of CTM method allow to utilize the cooking facilities as a learning lab, where attendees are involved in different operations which permit the understanding of communication flows.

Each CTM
TM experience is made up by a number of exercises divided in three steps: briefing, cooking, debriefing.
During the briefing, the training attendees receive the main criteria to perform the exercise.
During cooking a chef promotes and conducts the course attendees and leads them to the main dish preparation, to allow the attendees to experience ad hoc situations which can be compared to a real company environment.
During debriefing the trainer acts as leader in projecting in the company environment the experience made during the cooking training developing self-confidence strengths or areas to be improved.

Depending on company requirements, we are able to design training plans tailored to customer or define premium plans or incentive plans for employees.
Our CTM method really involves and entertain training attendees, thus resulting in team building activity which is useful for meetings or company events.
Tangram proposes several activities in the following company areas: Leadership, Communication, Motivation, Organization, Attention Management, Problem Solving, Proxy and Creativity.
"If you tell it to me, I forget it.
If you show it to me, I recall it.
If I make an experience, I understand it." (Chinese proverb)
